Prompt: An audiobook narrator in his early fifties who has recorded North Sea novels for years, preferably standing at an open window. His voice is deep and even, with the calm of ebb and flow. Between two sentences he makes pauses in which you can almost hear the surf. His North German stays discreet; only the names of the fishing boats sound salty. Before each chapter begins he draws one single deep breath.

Script: Im Herbst wurde das alte Strandkorbdepot auf Wangerooge ausgeräumt. Die Körbe wandern in die Werkstatt, wo sie neue Markisen bekommen. Im Frühjahr stehen sie wieder in einer Reihe, als wäre nichts gewesen. Nur die Nummern verraten, wer zurückkam.
