Frequently asked questions
How do credits work?
1 credit = 10 characters at the standard TTS rate; Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters count as 2 each. Studio and API use the same balance. For example, 1,000 weighted characters use 100 credits. Free and paid plans can claim 400 free credits daily, separately from subscription credits. Daily credits must be claimed manually and are not available on Enterprise.
What is included with yearly billing?
Pay for 10 months and get 12 months of access. Credits are issued monthly, with the same monthly allowance, voice slots and project limits. Your annual total is shown when you choose Yearly. The effective subscription rate is approximately $25 per 1M characters.
Can I buy more credits?
Top up at a rate of 10,000 credits for $3, starting from $5. Enterprise top-ups are covered by your contract. Top-up credits expire 1 year after purchase.
Can I use generated audio commercially?
Commercial use is included with every paid plan. The Free plan does not include commercial use.
How does credit rollover work?
Unused subscription credits roll over on active paid subscriptions, up to one monthly allowance in addition to the new monthly grant. Your subscription balance can therefore reach twice your monthly allowance. Subscription credits expire when your paid subscription ends.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrades start a new billing cycle immediately at the selected plan price, and unused subscription credits carry over within the target plan cap. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to existing Studio projects when you return to Free, but creating projects or generating new clips requires a paid plan.
